Burpple

2013 — 2017

Burpple's mission is to help people enjoy their lives by finding the perfect places to eat with people they love.

I led product design and oversaw Burpple through multiple interations. I designed most aspects of our product across all three platforms, developed front-end code for our web assets, and thought of innovative ways to help our users share and discover new dining experiences.

During my first three months at Burpple, I worked on a new version of web platform. We launched this with success. With the efforts of the content team, Burpple on the web attracts more than 500,000 people monthly. Next, we launched Burpple for businesses, a portal for business owners to connect with our users and promote new offerings straight into the pockets of potential customers.

I also oversaw the direction and design for the iOS and Android apps. From the first iteration through to the fifth, we have always focused on how people discover places and plan for important occasions. As food is very subjective, we made sure to listen carefully to the feedback and data in order to help people find the perfect place.

Occasionally, I am also involved in producing community and marketing assets, which include graphics for mailers, videos for social media, cover art for content distribution, window clingers for businesses, cards and T-shirts.
